The CA7625 Carbon Accessory Power Supply is a modular and cost effective, efficient method for the evaporation of carbon for SEM applications. It is used in conjunction with the SC7620, SC7640 and SC7680 sputter coaters, which provide the vacuum work-chamber for evaporation. The CA7625 power supply is switchable between 10V/100A (for carbon rod evaporation) or 20V/50A (for carbon fibre evaporation). A vacuum interlock is provided to ensure safe operation of the sputter coater / carbon accessory system. Outgas and coat switches are provided for complete control of the evaporation sequence.

The evaporation heads are supplied complete with sample shutter, cables and separate work-chamber (to prevent contamination of the sputter coater work-chamber).
