Retrofitting a current   "add-on" carbon evaporation system to an existing SC500 or SC500A.

The current model of carbon evaporation power supply (SC7625) and either the current CA076F (fibre) or CA076R (rod) carbon evaporation heads will work
with old  SC500 (or SC500A) sputter coaters.

The SC7625 and CA076F / CA076R combination is a freestanding carbon evaporation package and will require a separate mains power outlet. Safety interlocks are built into the units so that power cannot be applied to the evaporation head until the head is under a vacuum condition.

The SC500 / SC500A will automatically disable its own high voltage power sputtering supply (using a built-in tilt switch mechanism) as soon as the sputtering head is hinged back to allow fitment of the carbon head.
