This SEM image presents the structure of algae. The sample was chemically dehydrated with ethanol and DMP (2,2-dimethyloxypropane), placed on Aclar film, and coated with Au/Pd for 60 seconds using a MiniQ S before imaging with a Hitachi FlexSEM.
