Bellis perennis (daisy) pollen grains

This SEM image displays pollen grains from Bellis perennis (daisy). Prepared using the Quorum PP3010 Cryo Preparation System, the sample was cryo-immobilised in slush nitrogen at −207 °C, fractured at −140 °C, and sputter-coated with 2–7 nm of iridium. Imaged with a TESCAN AMBER X.
